Amando is made from Sicilian almond milk, a typical ingredient used by Italian dessert chefs and perfect for creating a creamy gelato consistency. The use of plant-based ingredients is designed to ensure everyone can enjoy great gelato, even if you have gluten, dairy or derivative intolerances. Plant-based ingredients also have impressive sustainability credentials when it comes because they reduce CO2eq emissions by 26% throughout a product’s life cycle, compared with the same gelato made with milk and milk derivatives*.

A TOTALLY NATURAL CHOICE

The Amando range offsets emissions through projects designed to safeguard the environment. It also reduces CO2 generation by using plant-based ingredients instead of milk and derivatives. In 2020 Armando production process reduced greenhouse gas emissions (CO2eq) by approximately 900 tons, equating to the CO2 absorbed in a single year by around 120,000 trees*.
